2004 12 01 Effective December 1, 2004, VMU School of Law entered into a student exchange agreement with University of the Holy Spirit in Ecuador! Each receiving institution will accept up to three students from the other institution tuition free.  The law school of the University of the Holy Spirit is somewhat similar to that of VMU inasmuch as instruction is in both Spanish and English.  Dean Arosemena of the law school of the University of the Holy Spirit taught Constitutional Theory at VMU in the fall semester of 2004.  The University of the Holy Spirit is located in the city of Quayaquil, which is located on the coast and has a population of 2.5 million.
